Another court mulls Biden vaccine mandate for US contractors

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — A federal appeals court in New Orleans is the latest to hear arguments on whether President Joe Biden overstepped his authority with an order that federal contractors require their employees be vaccinated against COVID-19. At issue Monday before an appellate panel was whether the mandate can be enforced in federal contracts involving the states of Indiana, Louisiana and Mississippi. A government website says the mandate isn't being enforced while legal challenges play out in various jurisdictions around the country.
